Police arrest four for breaking into Brighton Green home

Chesterfield police have arrested Carlos A. Gomez, 18, and Dante Marron-Solorio, 18, both of the 2800 block of Camberwell Road, for allegedly breaking into a residence in the 600 block of North Pinetta Drive shortly after noon on May 29. They have been charged with grand larceny and breaking and entering with the intent to commit a felony.

Two 17-year-old juveniles were also arrested. One is charged with grand larceny and breaking and entering with the intent to commit a felony. The other is charged with breaking and entering with the intent to commit a felony, grand larceny, identity fraud and obstructing justice.

Police became suspicious when they found the suspects near where the victim's stolen 2007 Toyota was recovered. The suspects allegedly broke into the house through a window in the back door and ransacked the interior, stealing some office equipment.

In other police reports:

Belrun Court. Several shots were fired into a residence in the 6100 block at 4:13 a.m. on May 28. No one was injured.

Belasco Drive. The victim was walking toward his apartment in the Roxbury Square Apartments at 10:20 p.m. on May 23 when three suspects appeared with one holding a handgun. They demanded his money and then fled after the victim gave it to them.

Gordon School Road. A bottle bomb exploded in a mailbox in the 11900 block at 3 p.m. on May 22. No one was injured.

Hull Street Road. The two suspects entered the Shell service station in the 13100 block at 2:20 a.m., asking for change for a $100 bill. The female clerk refused. A short time later, the two suspects returned with bandanas over their faces, asking for change again. She refused again, and they assaulted her before taking money from the register.

Hunton Circle. A 1999 GMC van was stolen from the 8500 block, but was later recovered up against a neighborhood home. Several unlocked vehicles in the Bedford subdivision were entered and rummaged through during the night of June 1 with money and other items taken.

Mistyhollow Road. The victim's 1999 Ford was found wrecked at the intersection of Dumaine and Woodsong Drive in the early morning hours of June 1. The victim said the vehicle had been stolen from his driveway in the 11200 block in the Genito Forest subdivision.

Robious Road. Employees of the Laurels of Willow Creek received threatening phone calls on May 24 from a suspect who said he was going to blow up the facility.

Scottingham Drive. The victim exited his vehicle at his residence in the 8600 block at 2:07 a.m. on May 27, and two armed suspects approached with weapons drawn. The victim ran to his front porch as the suspects fired several shots. The suspects then ran to a vehicle at a nearby intersection and sped off.
