Police arrest juvenile suspect in assault

Gwen Sadler

Sometimes police officers are right where you need them, when you need them. That was the case recently when a man was the victim of an assault.

At 9:30 p.m. on March 14, a man was walking in the 3900 block of Cogbill Road when he encountered three people. One of them asked him if he had any cash. The victim ran away and was chased by the suspect. When the suspect caught up to the victim, he assaulted him and demanded his money. The victim was able to get away and summon police. Officers in the area located the suspect – a 17-year-old male – and took him into custody. His name is not being released because of his age.
