Workshop to look at conservation easements

The Capital Region Land Conservancy, in partnership with Conservation Partners and the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, will present a Land Conservation Easement Workshop for farm and forest landowners in Chesterfield and Powhatan counties.

Learn more about the benefits of conservation easement donations. Speakers will include Taylor Cole, president of Conservation Partners, and Jane Myers, land conservation manager of the Capital Region Land Conservancy.

The workshop will be Tuesday, March 5, at 6 p.m. and will include a free barbecue dinner. The location is the Heritage Center at Pocahontas State Park, 10301 State Park Road, Chesterfield.
