Chesterfield County is inviting comments on a draft of the Comprehensive Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) for FY 2013-2014 program year. The report outlines the performance of the county in the administration of the Community Devlopment Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnership (HOME) funded activities for the period of July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014. The final report is required to be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development within ninety (90) days following the end of the program year (June 30th). Copies of this draft will be made available for public review and comment beginning September 4, 2014. Comments must be submitted by 2:00 P.M. on September 18, 2014 for consideration during the formal review of the CAPER. The CAPER is available for review at the Budget and Management Office, Lane B. Ramsey Administration Building, 9901 Lori Road, Room 401, Chesterfield, VA 23832 and on the county website www.chesterfield.gov. A public meeting will be held on September 11, 2014 at the Bensley Community Center at 7:00 p.m. located at 2900 Drewry’s Bluff Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23237 and on September 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m at the Mayes-Colbert Ettrick Community Center located at 20621 Woodpecker Road, South Chesterfield, VA 23803. Both facilities are designed to be accessible to persons with disabilities. The meetings are being held to answer questions and accept feedback on the draft CAPER report that will be available at each meeting.
